Q and A with Cousin's Cupcakes
Q and A with Cousin's Cupcakes:
Do you think your CC work is going well?
I think it's gone pretty well. We'll be baking more in May!
Have you done any special decorating yet?
No, there was no special decorating asked for yet.
Can you explain to people who don't know what special decorating is?
Special decorating is when someone asks for something special to be put on their cupcake(s) that we don't offer one our menu.
Example?
'Ms. Random' asks for a present to be drawn with icing on her cupcake(s). We don't put that on our menu, though. That's why it's special decorating.
Thanks! Well it's time to wrap up this interview ('cause you know TICK TOCK TICK TOCK!) But I hope anyone who was reading this learned more about Cousin's Cupcakes. I think we'll do another Q and A soon. And for those who have no idea what Q and A stands for, it meanes QUESTION and ANSWER.
Bye! To all the cupcake-loving fans and blog followers out there! We adore you all!

LINK 2 SITE
Hey here's a fun game link: Lumosity
It's a website that has brain games that help with things like mental flexibility, memory, and other skills that will be good for you to learn.
You do have to join. It is not simple to join, though. It costs money and you need a credit card. Although if you can you really should join. I've played a few games on our grandparents' computer.
Try it, if you can.....................................
Here are some of the games that you can play on there:
Lost in Migraton
Penguin Persuit
Word Bubbles
And lots more games that you can play!
But remember, it's like six dollars a month. Around that much at least. That's what our grandparents told us.

Funny comedy interview. (We didn't mean for this)
FOOD CRITIC
This is a Cousin's Cupcakes food critic artical. Today we will interview our youngest CC worker about the cupcakes we had last night. We did not make them, though. The last blog artical before this one was wrote about these same cupcakes.
What was the flavor of the cupcakes?
Maybe... Vanilla Merange?
No! It was chocolate cake with chocolate frosting! Why would you even think that?
When I tasted it it kind of had a different taste than chocolate.
Do you even know what vanilla meranges taste like?
No, but... I guess it kind of had... A vanilla batter? With the juice from an apple.
(I don't understand why he thinks it's vanilla merange when he hasn't even tasted a vanilla merange. I mean, it was double chocolate, that doesn't have juice from an apple in it. I really don't understand his answers for this question set. Next set!)
On a scale of one (hate it) to ten (love it) how would you rate these cupcakes?
The cupcake I tasted I guess I got a little... Wait I'm interviewing the wrong cupcakes!
You what?! I put in alot of effort! You didn't even type anything! (Rgggggggg...)
From one to ten I would rate it a eight.
Wait: Are you rating the right cupcakes?
No! Wait, yes, no yes, no (not sure?)
Sorry, folks. I had to turn this into a comedy. You see, he was thinking of other cupcakes. Cupcakes the CC had made. But, I was upset because I typed up all of this wrong info from him. I hope you don't mind. He will do a correct interview next time. We promise! I'm the second oldest worker. And I'm interviewing the youngest, so you can expect that he will not even know what we're interviewing even though he's old enough too. Next time it will work!

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwsome cupcakes!
Wow! Today we've spotted some awwwsome cupcakes!
The were Martha Stewart chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting.
They had toothpicks with 2D little figures on them that were stuck in the cupcakes.
Some were ballerinas,
And some were racecars.
Cool fact: Racecar is spelled the same forwards and backwards.
Here's a picture of the cupcakes:
Sorry, we'll edit this post later and get in the photo. We're having some tech-problems right now.
(The iPhone is acting up :( Ugh!)
Don't worry, we will have the photos up.
Hasta llego! (See you later)
OR Hasta manana! (See you tomorrow)

WARNING: Sugar isn't always nice.
WARNING:
If you are trying to make your won cupcake recipe, this can save your cupcakes from a dramatic death! Read on...
Too much sugar can make cupcakes explode in the oven.
You don't want cupcakes that blow up, do you?
Didn't think so.
So next time, try making cupcakes sweet with things other than just sugar.
I've put in too much sugar in my chocolate cupcake recipe before. Actully, twice. They blow up and kinda melt at the same time.
You'll be a better baker in no time!

Party themes. Fun with cupcakes!
Party themes that go with cupcakes: HAVE CUPCAKES AT A PARTY
By a Cousin's Cupcakes worker.
Safari party: Get cupcakes and cut them into the shapes of lions faces or rhino or elephant faces. Then frost with safari colors such as brown, tan, dusty red, black and other natural colors!
Under the sea party: Decorate cupcakes like clams. The use an edible pearl or m&m to be the pearl.
Frost with silver, gold, white, blue or green!
Pirate party: Make the cupcakes into gold coins or to be more creative, frost it like an eye patch on the cupcake. Use frosting colors black, bright red, bright blue, yellow or gold, white, or green!
Adult parties: Depending on what kind of party it is ou may want to write names on the cupcakes. If the party has to do with jobs, do something for their job.
Christmas: A gift or a tree.
Easter: An egg or bunny face.
Halloween: Candy or something scary.
Hannukah: A dradle or the chocolate coins.

An easy way to upgrade to cupcakes: It's a must read!
It's already January. It's already 2013. Soon it will be holidays again. Valentines, easter and other holidays. Baking is good for parties. And most of the time, cake can take a long time to serve. You have to cut it and put it on a plate and hand them out to screaming people. And then watch and make sure no little kids touch the knive to cut the cake.
Cupcakes don't need any of that! You don't need to cut them or put them on a plate. And you can serve them like a buffet where you cme and get your own. Not leave the host/hostess tossing them at everybody who wants one.
Birthday parties, weddings, holidays and other big events are upgradig to cupcakes. It's just cake in a cup. It's easier to serve. And if you still want cake, just remember cupcakes can be the cake you want, just in a cup.
Here are some ideas: Buy the cake you want and put it into cupcake tins
have a bunch of cuocakes made into the shape of a cake
or just stop with cake and order Cousin's Cupcakes!

Tip Talk-Do Overs!
This month's addition of tip talk is about do overs. You may have read (hopefully you did) a blog post done by another cc girl about do over! I must say she really hit the nail on the head! If you have not read it... go check it out!
This tip talk is all about do-overs. We have all made that gross cupcake no one wanted to finish. Once, I was making this icing... and it was perfections! I was very proud. Because, the five or so previous times that I had made it, it became a grey watery mix with a few large butter chunks floating around. Do-overs are SO important because, when I perfected that recipe the taste was unbelievably good! The trick was melting the butter more. I had out refrigerator-cold butter into that bowl when really it was supposed to be warm creamy melty butter. (Excuse my mouth watering...) So, go ahead and play around with your recipes! READ THE DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY! And, no worries you will figure it out. You will perfect that icing too. (Or that cupcake!)

The art of baking... Do-overs.
I've tested out a choclate cupcake recipe that I made 3 times. One was last night in fact! The first time they were good, second time blew up because I added to much sugar, and last night's were too bitter because I put in too much vanilla. (Yes, choclate cupcakes can have vanilla in them.)
So what it shows is that no matter how many times you try, things can go wrong. So don't say "I'm never using my recipe again! It failed!" Instead, think about it like this: "So what they turned out wrong. You have to test recipes over and over. This was just a test!"
I hope you do understand baking. It's different form cooking. Baking is exact! Cooking is playing with food. So try over and over if it turns out wrong. You'll learn what you can do to be more exact.
You can do it! I've done it, too. :)

If you like any posts, you can "Fan" them. Which eans in the comments you can say that your a fan. Or you could literally just type "fan". Enjoy!
