Beach Beauty

We all love the beach. Or at least most of us do. The beach environment loves us back, the beachy sea salt waves? Check! Natural highlights? Double check! But the sun? Natural sun when walking around can be great, but too much of a good thing is not a good thing anymore. Tanning and lying in the sun may make you look good now, but down the road it can cause serious problems. The repercussions of tanning are huge! Including early aging, sun damaged skin and even skin cancer. Personally, I think pale can be beautiful too, too tan is too much for me. But, if you're in the market for a summer glow, choose a tinted lotion instead. Let's not forget about those sunburns. Try to avoid them by reapplying at least SPF 30 in prime sun, wearing hats and sunglasses and coverups-sometimes. However, if the burn strikes, apply an aloe lotion, or rub a leaf of an aloe plant on the burn to soothe the achy, burning feeling and to help your skin recover faster.

I mentioned beachy waves before. Sea salt sprays are all the rage this season to maintain healthy beachy waves without the ocean.
