School is right around the corner (eek!) Some of us are really ready to go back, while others are still savoring the last few days of summer. For the rising high schoolers and middle schoolers who read this, just remember to breath, it may seam a little daunting in the beginning, but remember you probably thought elementary and middle school was just as scary, but you adjusted. Here are some key tips to remember on the first day.
1. Breathe, everyone else is nervous too.
You're probably scared about the size or the school, the rigor of the classes, subjects that aren't your best, but remember so is everyone else. If there is a class you are struggling in, the teachers are there to help you, its their job. Before school, after school or at lunch, the teachers are there to make sure that you understand.
2. Ask questions. Seriously.
A lot of people are afraid to ask questions during or outside of class, they think it will make them look like they're not smart. However, in reality the teachers will admire the student for taking initiative and it will show that she's really listening and paying attention.
Have fantastic first day!
